flavors for xorg-minimal

Sid
Hi can there be flavors of ATI, VESA, Intel and maybe Nvidia drivers for xorg-minimal, and maybe xorg as a whole. Intel and ATI require VT, while VESA requires SCFB. Newer and older ATI and Intel drivers can be installed manually on top of the ATI and Intel driver in kernel. The flavor without VESA would also require loading the driver module(s) through kldlist in rc.conf when the console is required.

Also, if they are going to put in Wayland for Xorg, can that be as a flavor, instead of forcing that as a dependency.

Thank you

+1. I believe it requires portmgr@ approval to introduces new flavours.

Yes, flavors require portmgr approval. Feel free to send this to
portmgr@ and perhaps x11@ for wider discussion (this desktop list is
pretty much unused).
